What is it?
We have longitudinal zones, transverse zones and now coronal zones to access reflex points in the body. It is in this third key area that I have concentrated my efforts over the last five years and developed the method known as Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy™. Working in this plane allows therapists access deeper inside the ‘core’ of the body, releasing the patient from longstanding stagnation.
Where are the points found?
There are 40 points which can be located through the sagittal aspects of each foot and 32 points on the lateral edge of both feet. These can be worked by projecting the energy through the body from the outer margins into the core, or from the centre of the body radiating outwards to the surface. Most of the points are centrally located on the lateral or medial edge in a thick band or well-defined zone. Some of these new found points are located more towards the dorsum or plantar aspect dependent on their position in the body.
How does this enhance your practice?
This method and the techniques I have developed will easily integrate into your treatment process. It is important to stress that these are additional access points for the powerful delivery of reflexology. This useful tool in your practice does not seek to replace conventional reflexology but rather allows for a different perspective when working with the myriad of conditions presented by our patients.
How to find out more
All the reflex points are explored in detail in the Effective Reflexology™ module ‘The Dynamics of Healing’ and applied throughout all other modules of the course. Registration forms for this module and all others are included in the brochure or by contacting College House.
Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy™
One day UK courses
In response to the numerous requests to do so, I have put together a further series of one-day courses to be held throughout the UK during 2007.
The day will consist of the theory and principles behind, as well as practical demonstrations of, this remarkable and highly effective technique.
As a result, you will be able to immediately incorporate all you have learnt into your existing practice.
